Inspiration
A lovely short piece for you, it’s an experiment with second person writing that turned into more of a description than anything else really.
.
You’re sat at a desk, staring at a blank page, willing something to form in your head. Then it happens, pure inspiration flashes in your mind and you start to scribble it down as quickly as possible. But then nothing. The flash has gone. Leaving nothing. You look at the words you’ve wrote, they’re nonsense now. Nonsense without any inspiration left to fulfil them. A few sharp strokes of your pen soon sorts that out, obliterating the wasted words.
.
It nearly ended up being scribbled out, like the words in the piece, but the irony made my smile and keep it.
Hope you enjoy, please feel free to comment.

Alas, the capturing of inspiration! Sometimes it seems so hard but at times, it just flows continuously..
Why thank you Clariice (why do I now feel like Hannibal :)) your words are thought provoking and sadly true. I only kept this piece because it rang accord with my sense of humour.
