Existentiality
A bit of a rant poem, I wrote it when I was angry with the world, I felt I was basically being ignored by everyone, and that people assumed too much about me when they hardly knew me.

Is my existentiality
a reality
or is it just a fantasy
of my mentality
I can’t grip the fractality
of my emotionality
Is this but insanity
or me seeking validity
for the fragility
of my personality

Very nice, I love how well it rhymes. Kind of a sing-song sort of poem.
Yeah, a couple of my poems written in anger have came out like this, sort of rap like. Isn’t it odd how we can mask anger in such sweet sounding packages?
The Lonely Recluse.
I enjoyed it tremendously, I must say. I read this somewhere before – all of us seek to be understood and validated. It’s this human nature in each of us – perhaps as a social animal – we need to feel that we are accepted.
We just need to constantly remind ourselves that we are different individuals and not everyone will understand us but as long as we know what we are doing, I think we are doing fine 🙂
I have been following most of your posts(as much as possible) and I do admire your flow of poetry and how it comes fluidly. You are talented in your own way – believe in yourself and the dots will connect eventually.
Thank you for your kind words and good advice. I know that being human sadly makes me partially a social creature, hence the “Lonely” in my name. I know well enough that I am different. Having people remind me on a fairly regular basis (both positively and negatively) helps keep that in mind. This poem actually started out because I felt people were treating me as the invisible, non-existant man (in the real world, not online), it then went on to a rant about how my emotions work.
