Eleven Things About Being Tagged.

Well actually it’s not about being tagged, the title just sounded good. I was actually tagged in two things (I think they were originally the same, but evolved through the magic of the internet, so I’m treating it as one). Both Faith (http://blueepicgeek.wordpress.com/) and Dandylion28 (http://b3tterthisway28.wordpress.com) tagged me on this one.

The Rules

~You must post the rules
~Post eleven facts about yourself on the blog post
~Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you’ve tagged.
~Tag eleven bloggers, however, you can break the rules and tag fewer  people if you want. Make sure you hyperlink their names/blogs.

~Let them know you’ve tagged them!
~Have fun!

Eleven facts.

10 – I despise having my photo taken

11 – I’m an uncle

(12 (a joke)) – Yes, I am indeed a man (this is aimed at Faith, if you don’t understand, don’t worry about it).

Faith’s Questions.

  1. What is your favorite color (and shade) and why?

Black, I just find it simple and calming, it’s an amazing colour.

  1. What was your favorite thing that happened this past week?

A week long caving holiday

  1. What is your favorite holiday and why?

A hard one, I’ve loved them all, most memorable two were when I went to Normandy and saw the Bayeux tapestry (though my Grandma died after that holiday) and the caving holiday I’ve just had.

  1. Do you like school, why or why not?

Yeah, it’s alright, I actually do enjoy learning 9though most people who know me would be surprised.

  1. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Back to Australia, probably Melbourne, or Uluru – they are just fantastic places.

  1. What is your most favorite outfit to wear? Going out? Staying in?

Jeans and a Tee shirt, plain and simple.

  1. Favorite type of music? Why?

Depends on my mood. Probably rock.

  1. Poetry, novels or short stories? (what you like to read and write of each)

To read, definitely novels, to write, mainly poetry because it comes to me the easiest, I actually prefer writing prose, but I know my poetry is better, and I don’t have the patience with characters to keep them for more than a short story.

  1. If you could meet anyone, alive or dead, who would you meet?

It would depend on how I was feeling when I was asked, if I was feeling philosophical, probably Jesus, if I was drunk then probably someone daft like the first person to make bread, or whoever brewed my beer, who knows what’d happen if I was in some other mood.

  1. What is your favorite food ever?

Beef in Guinness with Yorkshire puddings.

  1. What is your best talent?

I’m a fair decent baker.

I’m rereading The Count of Monte Cristo

  1. If you could live in any country/city in the world, which would it be?

Australia definitely, Melbourne probably

  1. If you had three wishes, what would they be?

Superpowers (probably shapeshifting), Controllable telepathy, freedom for the creature giving me the wishes, or a good life for a few people I know. (to be honest I’d settle with the shapeshifting)

  1. Blackberry or Iphone  ?

Neither, it has to be the Nokia 3410 (snake II wins it hands down)

  1. What’s one thing that you can do really well?

I’m a good baker.

  1. Harry Potter or Twilight? (you shouldnt even have to think about it)

Lord of the Rings.

  1. Name one song that could be the anthem to your life right now

The Windmills of Your Mind

  1. If you could meet any famous person from the past, who would it be and why?

It would depend on how I was feeling when I was asked, if I was feeling philosophical, probably Jesus, if I was drunk then probably someone daft like the first person to make bread, who knows what’d happen if I was in some other mood.

  1. Favourite movie of all time?

The Shawshank Redemption

  1. The Count of Monte Cristo is great.
    Thanks for tagging me!

  2. I know! I won’t ever forget that you are not female again. That was horrible.
Anyway, I love your answers. I love how when I said my grandmother was my hero I went on for like a paragraph and you just say, “My grandmother.” Yeah.
Also, I love your favorite holiday. I meant the American type of holiday but that’s actually more interesting.
I’ve heard that marmite is worse than vegemite and I like vegemite. But just barely. I don’t know if I dare to try marmite.
Thanks for doing this 🙂 Love your answers. And your facts.

    • Oh and did you realize that all the questions I asked are numbered 1, 1, 1, 1? And if you do end up going around the US on a motorbike, stop by. My mom says she’ll make you dinner. My dad has an English penpal and so we were talking about English people one time and I mentioned you. So she invited you for dinner. My mom is awesome.

      • It didn’t bother me too much, hence making a joke of it :).
I couldn’t do my Grandma justice with even 100 paragraphs, so I thought the simple answer showed it enough.
Oh right, probably bonfire night because of the fireworks and bonfire (and the treacle toffee).
Marmite is far better than vegemite (cheap aussie ripoff that it is). You should definitely try it, you’ll either love it or hate it.
Yeah, don’t know why that’s done that but it’s far too much hassle to change for some reason, so it shall stay as it is.
Sounds good, free food is always welcome (or even worked for food), I’ll definitely accept that offer if I do go to the US. Where abouts in England is your dad’s penpal from?
No worries about doing the Q&As, gave me something to post :).

        • That’s good 😀 I finally got over the embarrassed part of it.
          I see, that’s good then 🙂
I don’t even know what that is but it sounds fun.
Haha! Hm, I’ll have to try it someday.
          Oh I see. Alright.
Awesome 🙂 Then you’ll be able to prove to my dad you’re not some 45 year old man. Unless you are.
I believe she’s from meadowbrook but I haven’t the slightest idea where that is.

          • Glad to know, wouldn’t have wanted to laugh at you with that joke, only with you.
Bonfire night is November 5th, it remembers the gun powder plot (when a bunch of people tried to blow up the houses of parlement [and King James I]), it’s celebrated with bonfires and fireworks (people used to burn an effigy of Guy Fawkes, one of the plotters, even though he wasn’t burnt, he was hung drawn and quartered).
I’m not, my about page is actually true.
            Nor do I.
