We Are Learning To Make Fire
Again I had a prompt to start this one off, again I can’t remember what it was. The fire is of course the spoken word, more destructive than man’s red flower (a pat on the back if you recognise that reference).
.
We are learning to make fire
Just to watch the world burn
Our fire is not man’s red flower
But it burns just as hot
It still needs oxygen
Fuel and ignition
It still burns hot
And destroys
But a lighter won’t make it
Yes we are learning to make fire
And when we’ve learnt the trick
We will speak and hearts will burn
And once hearts start to burn
The world is soon to follow
.
