A Thousand Thoughts.
A small musing about inspirations. Get jotting your ideas down.
.
A thousand thoughts go between
The window and the door
Destined never to return
Not now or ever more
So jot them down and thresh them out
Before they can flee
Trapped in the pages of a book
As free as they can be
For it is only in capture
That a thought does escape
Through reading and hearing
On a thousand minds it does drape
.

The Lonely Recluse.
The rhythm and rhyme in this, and its message – they all go so well together! Nice poem
It was one of those poems that just wrote itself, then you sit there and think “did I write that?”. Glad you enjoyed it.
